1208 Washington Wedding with Jessica Rourke and Pout
This was a beautiful wedding celebrating the union of Anthony & Elizabeth, coordinated by Jessica Rourke who is a fabulous Columbia wedding planner! Elizabeth found me from shooting her sister's wedding, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see all of those familiar faces! We started the wedding day at Pout on Devine Street. Pout bridal hair and makeup is some of my favorite- the place is BEAUTIFUL and I love being able to photograph all of the girls hanging out in there.See what I mean? Pout is such a beautiful space for bridesmaid wedding photos. We traveled the short distance over to St. Martin's in-the-Fields Episcopal church off of Clemson Avenue. The church is beautiful, and we were able to do all of our pre-ceremony photos on the grounds!White House florist designed this bouquet, and it's one of my favorites of all time. Now let's get married! We all hopped on a bus and headed over to 1208 Washington, which is a beautiful venue to hold a reception! That black and white checkered floor is actually no more, it's a neutral hardwood now. But we have these memories to keep it alive! Shout out to the bride and groom and Southern Way catering for speaking my love language..Izzabees is a popular wedding cake creator here in Columbia for good reason- everything she bakes is PHENOMENAL and this did not disappoint!WHAT A GOOD BAND. A good band makes a wedding reception SO much fun. This was Intensity, the crowd loved them (as you can see!)My most suggested way to end the night- flower petals crushed up to be confetti (no littering concerns!) or paper confetti. Confetti is way more fun than sparklers, drunk people aren't holding fire, you're not making scared faces, and the confetti FILLS the frame in such a beautiful way! 10/10 would recommend over sparklers any day. What a wedding. To sum it up, congratulations to these two, and many thanks to the vendors that helped pull it off!
