Flower-Filled Charleston Wedding for The Bartons

After her beautiful bridal session last spring, I was thrilled to see Elaine again for her wedding day. Of course, this time, Christopher would be joining us!

We started off the day at the Restoration Hotel, a great boutique hotel located in some prime photo spots in the city. Charleston is just literally the easiest and most beautiful place to photograph a wedding, and every single view is better than the next!

The florals for this wedding were also really something special. The colorful bouquets matched the blue dresses and pastel buildings so well, and the flowers Tupelo Honey Flower Shop sent for me to style with the invitation suite were perfect. The poppies were especially gorgeous, and I loved Elaine's blue ring and how the color blue was woven into details throughout the day. The Co-Op even made a fun appearance during the day, a true local favorite!

Elaine and Christopher had a beautiful ceremony inside one of Charleston's oldest and finest churches, Grace Church Cathedral. It was the perfect backdrop for exchanging their vows and made for a handful of ideal portrait locations before the ceremony. After their ceremony, we bused to Daniel Island for the party! Their reception venue is easily one of my favorites in the Charleston area.

Elaine is a Georgia Bulldog, and her husband is a South Carolina Gamecock! One of them had a great year in football :) (GoDawgs). I love how they added little details throughout their day as a nod to their favorite teams. They also had a few other special pups make an appearance during their reception and portraits, and what is a great wedding without PUPS!

From start to finish their wedding day was truly gorgeous and it was such a joy to be a part of the joy of the day!
