Gorgeous Virginia Wedding at The Salamander

I'm still daydreaming about every gorgeous detail from Taylor and Jack's wedding day in Virginia!

Before she was one of my brides, Taylor was a bridesmaid for one of my past brides, Hannah. She loved that Hannah's wedding photography experience felt fun and easy and was such a good time, and she wanted that for herself! We made a whole weekend trip for the day. It's truly special getting to see past bridesmaids again. It's the ultimate compliment to be chosen by another bride's most cherished people, and I loved getting to see Taylor as a bride!

Taylor and Jack chose the stunning Salamander as their wedding venue, and it's definitely one I can't wait to visit again soon. It was hard to end the portrait part of this day because every corner was filled with a new, beautiful vignette. Every detail of their wedding was so beautifully thought out and I loved Jack and Taylor's choice of blue throughout the day. Taylor even made a fun shoe change for the reception in a perfect baby blue!

Although Taylor is STUNNING and Jack cleans up nice, the true star was Frisco, the couple's golden retriever. Taylor has an immense love for animals, so when the Salamander had the option of a cocktail hour pony, it was an easy YES (and a huge hit). Frisco was such a good boy and was even the ring bearer during their ceremony. He was the perfect third wheel for their portraits, and I love how Taylor's face lit up when both of her boys were with her.

The entire day was magical, but I can't go without saying how amazing their band, the Dundies, were. They created the best experience for the party, and everyone had an AMAZING time dancing the night away! I can't wait to work with them again.
