A spring wedding with the best groom reaction at 403 Northlake
Welcome to Colby and Kristin's wedding day blog post! These two, I was SO excited to photograph the moment they saw each other. I knew Colby was going to be a ball of emotions, and sure enough he was the best groom reaction ever. First, shock. Then just overwhelmed with emotion... ahh it's so good!Colby and Kristin have been together for over six years. Kristin is actually wearing her mother's wedding dress, completely revamped for modern day! Their engagement session at the Columbia State House was a breeze, they are my favorite "almost kiss" moment hands down. You can see them here..Their wedding day was filled with all things blush and navy, so much of their own personalities, like the portrait walls, and the wine bottles that Kristin and her friends worked so hard to empty ;). In Kristin's words, "My dress, veil, wedding earrings and champagne flutes all were my moms that she has passed down to me. The invitations and programs will have been made by me, the wedding video was created by my wonderful friend Rashell O'neal, all of my friends helped me drink the wine that became our center pieces, my family, both mine and Colby's, helped me create everything that I had a vision for, and for that I will forever be grateful."It was a beautiful day filled with so much love. Kristin and Colby are seriously wonderful people, and I am just so happy for them.
