Maybe it's because Alex is former military and Matt is too, I don't know, but it has just been so funny photographing the two of them and just being like "yep this is us"! Alex does little funny things that make Kristen eyeroll and smile, but those little things always keep things interesting and will keep Kristen laughing for years to come (like strapping a headlamp to his head to find Kristen's garter, you'll see below!). Alex is cool, calm and collected but he lit up and had a lot of fun during groomsmen photos when we broke out cigars, and he is so sweet and affectionate with Kristen when he doesn't know I'm taking photos.Kristen is the chillest bride. No small thing bugged her on her day, she was just happy to be there, happy to marry Alex, and had a blast doing it. I loved laughing with her bridesmaids telling fun stories about her, watching her get loose on the dance floor, and the big grateful hug she gave me at the end of the night! You guys just rock. Their wedding was a warm sunny day in May in Bluffton, South Carolina at The River Club at Oldfield. Oldfield is nothing short of amazing, the plantation is so beautiful. The River Club did NOT disappoint! Kind of takes you back in time with all of the mossy trees over the water. It made me miss living in Beaufort! But luckily I am just a two hour drive into Columbia and am happy to come back for a Beaufort wedding. And in the meantime, I'll just look at these ;)
