Raspberry Plain Manor Wedding
Nicole and Steven had the most stunning Rasberry Plain Manor wedding this summer, and I'm so excited to share a little snippet with you.
A Little About Nicole and Steven
Steven and Nicole met during their freshmen year at James Madison University. Actually, they met on their very first night of college. After mutual friends (who knew they were both from Long Island) introduced them, they hit it off immediately but only started dating in their Junior year.
Steven proposed at Great Falls Park, a small hiking path the couple often went on that overlooks the Potomac River in VA. On June 26th, 2021, they went for a hike with their dog, Chubbs. When they arrived at a pretty overlook, Steven dropped down on one knee and had a photographer as a bystander taking pictures to capture the moment. He had Nicole's family from NY back at the house to surprise her and celebrate. It was the perfect day!
A Rasberry Plain Manor Wedding
Raspberry Plain Manor was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful day.
We started, as always, with details and getting ready photos, and I loved the getting ready room at this venue. It had beautiful neutral colors, which flowed perfectly with the day's color palette: whites and champagnes with the tiniest hint of pink. Every detail was perfect, and while I love a pop of color, I'm always a sucker for the classic elegance of a neutral palette.
Nicole wore a stunning gown from Justin Alexander from Sage Bridal Fairfax. It was perfect for their celebration, and she even changed into a pretty silk number for the reception! She paired the look with a pair of Alexandra Birman heels.
Amanda McCabe was a dream to work with and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the entire day. Steel Cut Flowers created some of the most stunning floral installations and worked their floral magic on Nicole and Stephen's wedding cake by Liberty Baking Company!
