What a year! | Columbia, SC family photographer

2014 has been an AMAZING year for my business. I want to thank all 100+ clients who have been a part of this year! Here's a quick collage of 2014 in review (and when I say quick I mean this took me three hours).So many happy memories in that collage. I see babies being born, Marines reuniting with their loved ones at homecomings, pregnancy announcements, so many happy toddler faces, laughter, birthdays, babies, and so much LOVE. Do you see yourself? A couple of you guys are in that FOUR times, which means you had four sessions with me! I am so grateful that you all have given be the ability to make a living off of doing something I enjoy.Because I love numbers and bullets, here are some facts about the year:

• 148 sessions not counting January, because January's calendar was destroyed by my two year old.
• 5 weddings
• 5 homecomings
• 4 images so far that I already notice are missing from this collage
• 3 births
• 2 viral images thanks to Facebook
• 1 session as far away as Ohio
• a partridge in a pear tree

Goals for 2015 for Jessica Roberts Photography.. Successfully building a client base in the Columbia area, booking at least half a dozen more weddings across the state for 2015/2016, making a complete studio in this new house, and most importantly for me, getting my name and maybe some of my work into Lexington Medical Center's labor and delivery wing. If I could only photograph one type of event for the rest of my days, it would be births. So that will be the main work for these next couple of months! Blogging, advertising, preparing, and hopefully booking in the new city.What are your goals for 2015? Do you have a dream of starting a photography business?
