Beaufort Inn Wedding with Posh Petals and Pearls
I have been so excited for this Beaufort Inn wedding to come! Beaufort is where I began my journey as a wedding photographer, and since moving to Columbia, there are so many parts that I miss. The Spanish moss, the waterfront, the venues. When Pam called me and told me about her destination wedding in Beaufort, SC I was all about it! Luckily I am only about two hours away from the lowcountry now, and still have a few lowcountry weddings on my calendar this year to satisfy my nostalgia!Pam and TC’s Beaufort wedding was so elegant and so classic. Posh Petals and Pearls knocked the design out of the park. It was a while backdrop of tablecloths, roses, and candles filled with pops of gold for color. The tables were scattered with these fun geometric gold details, and the couple brought in TC’s Japanese heritage by adding gold cranes throughout the tables that were made by TC’s grandmother (cranes are a Japanese symbol of love and fidelity, so it was perfect for their wedding day).KBC catered the event, and made some of the greatest food I’ve ever had (and photographed). The Fantastic Voyage Band (who I get to see again this year!) kept the crowd on their feet, and even let a guest do a drum solo! It was such a good time! Here are some of my favorites of Pam and TC’s Beaufort Inn wedding.
Pam and TC have been writing letters to each other since they started dating, so bringing them along was very special to her. We got to read one last letter from TC to add to the stack before she headed off to the church.
Pam’s mom MADE this. Every guest received one in their welcome bag, letting them know all about how awesome Beaufort was!
Pam signs all of her letters to TC with “I remain yours”. She had it engraved on his band with their wedding date as a permanent reminder!
Deep breath!"How do you say that? Halford? Hallford? Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Hallford!!"Now it's time for spanish moss wedding portraits!!
The handmade cranes, and the beautiful setup by Post Petals and Pearls and KBC!Savannah Rum Runners never disappoints for a cake.
Pam’s ring was her grandmother’s. It dates back to the 1800’s.
The first dances. No rehearsals means a lot of laughter! The Beaufort Inn at sunset is seriously so gorgeous.Pam and TC live in the peanut capital of the world. Naturally, they served boiled peanuts as their midnight snack.Pam busted out the classics for a dance off with hew nephew! The Fantastic Voyage band let this awesome guest play Mustang Sally, and he did amazing! The last dance to a wonderful night.
Congratulations again you two, I hope the Dominican Republic was AMAZING!!
