Glendale Shoals and Wofford College Engagement Session

I met Alex and Taylor at a local Starbucks one morning in January. I got to hear all about their wedding plans for Pretty Place and reception at Table Rock Lodge. I don't venture upstate often, so naturally I had to Google and I was BLOWN AWAY at Pretty Place! What a literal name. I am so excited for their June wedding there!!During our session, I got to hear a detailed story about how Alex and Taylor ended up together. It's pretty stinkin cute... they've been friends forever, and Alex actually tried to be matchmaker for Taylor TWO times and it just didn't work out.. surprise.. because ultimately they were meant to be together! Sometimes we just need a little while to figure out what's right under our nose haha. My husband and I share this exact story! Took us about four years to figure out we weren't supposed to be friends.Alex is a planner through and through, and wanted to make sure our engagement session was as meaningful as possible to them. We started at Glendale Shoals in Spartanburg. We took off our shoes and got in the falls and got some beautiful shots there! We walked around the bridge and the old mill before heading off to Wofford where Alex and Taylor both go to school.Wofford's campus is BEAUTIFUL! You can see more about the school here. It was insane how gorgeous it was, I wanted to go back to college just to live there! Exploring the campus together, I realized Alex and Taylor knew literally every person we passed. It was such a strong sense of community, and the housing blew my school out of the water! That whole campus rocked.After we wrapped up, Alex and Taylor headed to their dorms and I went to a Spartanburg Taco Bell that gave me the wrong order and unsweet tea and I cried a little bit during my two hour drive back to Lexington. But then I got to edit these, so all is better in the world, and I am sitting here with some sweet tea as I type.
