Columbia homecoming photographer | Stewart & Shelley
I love photographing homecomings! And you can certainly see why, all of that EMOTION!
Living on a Marine Corps base for the past few years has made it very easy to attend plenty of them, but since we've moved they've been a little slim. That's why I was so excited Shelley contacted me! Stewart is in the Air Force, and Shelley contacted me TODAY to photograph him coming home from his deployment. And I was thrilled! Stewart hasn't seen his son, Jameson since he was a newborn, and Shelley has been pulling double parent duty for many months. She is such a sweet soul and was so nice, excited, and the best kind of emotional. Shelley surprised Stewart with all of their friends and family at baggage claim waiting on him! It was the funnest thing watching him take a second to realize... I know everyone here!Jameson took a second to get used to not being in mom's arms, as all babies do at homecomings, but watch these photos and how FAST he gets comfortable, it was amazing to watch. He started to get sleepy near the end, and who's shoulder was he on? Dad's. It didn't take him long at all. Here's the story of their homecoming today. Welcome home Stewart, and I'm so happy you guys are reunited!! Enjoy your family time!If you have stood in these shoes, you KNOW this is the greatest text you'll ever receive everAnd in record time, he was off that plane and in her arms!!Stewart has no idea his friends and family are here!Showing the boys a terrifying spider he saw overseas. Can we talk about this light test? I don't even keep light tests! This was just so awesome to watch. This was the moment I think it clicked for Jameson, and he was all about daddy from this point.Congratulations again you three <3Jessica is a Columbia homecoming photographer and a Sumter homecoming photographer for Shaw Air Force base homecomings.
