This birth of Rosalie was such an amazing experience for me. Stephanie's husband was deployed and I had to make sure I told this story well for them, so he could look back through these images and not miss a beat. Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina has been my favorite hospital, favorite staff, they are so welcome to a birth photographer. Luckily, Stephanie's husband was able to watch the birth on an ipad! He got to watch their first daughter meet her new baby sister too. Thank goodness for technology.

A year has gone by as of this weekend since that birth, and I'm so happy to know Stephanie's husband is HOME with them and they are celebrating this precious girl's first birthday together as a family! No ipads required.
