Palmetto Club wedding with State House wedding portraits
Morgan and Will's day was one of my favorites. It was one of my LONGEST (I arrived before 10 AM!) but it was so worth it. The first look for Will and Morgan outside of Lexington Baptist Church, in front of the vintage 1928 Oakland car owned by a friend of the family, was full of emotion and joy. The clouds gave us the perfect amount of cover from the sun! The two had a Palmetto Club wedding reception, and every little detail had a story. That's what I love about Morgan, she puts thought into everything she creates.

Some of my favorite details of the day, including Will's new pocketwatch!Morgan's emotional first look with her dad was so sweet! Now for the big reveal!Morgan being Morgan hahaAnd Will just being Will! The furbaby came!!The flowers from Lexington Florist were stunning.Morgan and her mom, realness. Some of the fun moments of working with Bill Grant and Cinema Couture! Now let's go get married!Mr. and Mrs. Grant (WOOHOO!) exited the church in a 1928 Oakland. No big deal, just crossing Gervais in my wedding dress. This is what I had been most excited about all day. State house wedding portraits!!!This bench was the spot that Will proposed. Naturally, we had to have a little moment for the bench spot!Off to the Palmetto Club for the reception!Bonnie Brunt and her amazing cake.Morgan decorated the reception with birdcages, to go along with their theme of "Two t-brids", after Will's nickname T-bird. The birdcages had notes of important dates to Morgan & Will, along with fruits of the spirit and other meaningful words. The birdcage in the foyer belonged to Morgan's parents, and was the same birdcage they had at their reception, restored by her father. How perfect that the wedding became a bird theme for Will's nickname! The ribbon wands were purchased at Oriental Trading Company and Morgan added bells to them. The birdhouse favors were purchased at Michaels.Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Thornburg! What a perfect exit car for the theme!Thank you guys again, you were wonderful, and I couldn't have spent my birthday in better company!
