Millstone at Adam's Pond Columbia wedding
If you don't know about Adams Pond and you're planning a Columbia wedding, you have to schedule a tour. Adams Pond is this little hidden gem right outside of the city, and it's the only place with spanish moss I've ever found around here. The team is so on their game, which I appreciate so much, and Southern Way always knocks the food out of the park. Enjoy some of these Adams Pond wedding photos during your search! Now it's time to meet Mr. and Mrs. Milbourne!! Ashley has been SO fun to have as a client. We met over cheesesticks (did we just become best friends??). Ashley brought her bff Ashley Grant, and together they made her entire wedding into a dream. BFF Ashley came to Ashley & Brian's engagement, Ashley's boudoir and bridal session, and was such an important piece to the wedding day. It was so much fun to watch two best friends be so close and so involved!

Here are some highlights of Ashley & Brian's wedding day. The rain held off for the ceremony, and for the rest of the night!Lexington Florist knocked it out of the park for the florals. The rain and the adams pond backdrop just made these look so "midnight in the garden of good and evil" to me. The Pottery Barn lanterns were borrowed from the bride's friend - they were used in her wedding and have been in a number of other weddings. The tradition is now that when someone uses them they sign the bottom to keep a record of everyone's special day. How cool is that!
This ring pillow was made from two old handkerchiefs of Ashley's granddaddy. He passed away when she was a freshman in college. The lace belongs to her grandmother's wedding dress. Goodness how special. And to be carried down the aisle by the groom's little boy, Jake, who you will meet soon! Becky Jackson, a family friend made the cake. The flutes belong to the BFF of honor! All of the groomsmen and the groom had custom jackets, and a brand new pair of cowboy boots!Mikel Rumsey doing what she does best! Mikel does my hair when I actually get around to spending the money on my hair. Ashley brought this hot pink lipstick and that was her only request! It was the perfect shade for her. This broach was made from a necklace of an important friend of Ashley & Brian's who recently passed away. KP was present on their day in such a special way.All of the girls wore a feather in their dress to remember her as well. The man of the hour, and the little man of the hour! Meet Jake, 8 going on 18! He looks so proud right here!! He and Ashley danced and had lots of high fives at the reception, and he loved watching his dad see Ashley walk down the aisle. Best friend goals. Followed by groom goals.See why Adam's Pond rocks? The colors, the nature, yes!The perfect best friend shot!Blake is the most fun DJ on the planet!
Probably some of my favorite Adams Pond wedding photos ever. Ambient Media made the reception lighting possible- which is SO IMPORTANT! Ashley & Brian, thank you for having me photograph your day, I want to be friends with all of your friends and relive your reception basically every weekend.
