St. Joseph Catholic Church Ceremony and Seibel's House Reception in Columbia, SC | Second shooting for Emily Chappell Photography
When I first moved to Columbia from Beaufort, I did what most of us would do. I checked out the photographers in my new city! I don't second shoot that often, but I new that moving would require me to second shoot, and it would be a great way to meet some photographers that I admired or respected, or plain just wanted to be friends with! That was the case with Emily. I contacted her, felt like we connected with a similar style, and volunteered to help her out if she needed me one day. And she did! I assisted her on this St. Joseph Columbia wedding and Seibels House reception in October, and here are some of my faves from the day!Emily and her adorable baby bump met me at St. Joseph in Columbia, and she was just as chill and sweet as I figured she would be. Her wedding couple was GORGEOUS and they had some really unique pieces to their day, like these cufflinks. And here's how you ruin a mirror shot. The groom's home was walking distance to St. Joseph for the ceremony, so we headed that way straight from the house. You are TOO BEAUTIFULObsessed with the blush bridesmaid dresses. Obsessed with the simple classic wedding bouquets with blush ribbon. Just obsessed with all of this lace.I snuck out early to head to Seibel's House for the wedding reception details. This wedding cake is everything.Y'all know I love emotions! The funnest day! I loved working with Emily, I loved how beautiful this wedding was. You can find Emily's website right here.
