State House Bridal Portraits | Introducing Mrs. Alex Leaphart!!!
This was a really cool state house bridal portrait session, because apparently something important was happening inside the state house. Lawmakers were having boxes of pizza delivered, men in suits all over on their phones, unmarked cars, and another professional photographer there to photograph the happenings. I didn't know what was going on and I am absolutely the wost with terminology so in my mind I was just like "court must be in session?" and went on about my day. And then I heard it. "Ma'am? Ma'am? Would you like a picture with the Lieutenant Governor?" talking to Alex, and I had no idea who that was. But of course we said YES hahaha. So as I quickly try to Google his name before he comes out so I can look like a responsible South Carolinian, I find his name and his job title and he comes out in his purple robe and shakes Alex's hand. I'm photographing it, the other photographer who works for the State House is photographing it... it was a very cool moment! So she has a bridal portrait with South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Henry McMaster. How funny and random and cool is that? If they say rain is good luck, I'm sure a Lieutenant Governor is GREAT luck.Alex seriously surprised me with her dress! I DIED for that low V cut and key hole back when she emerged! After talking with her she told me Taylor was expecting a completely different style of dress. I couldn't wait to see his face on their wedding day! We posed all around the State House grounds until the sun went down and I had the best time. I can't wait for you guys to see their wedding!!
