Welcome to the world, Rosalie | Beaufort and Charleston, SC Birth Photographer
Today I had the honor of photographing a birth. I figured I would absolutely love every second of it, and to no surprise I did. This type of photography that isn't posed and staged, isn't about trying to recreate some Pinterest image, this photography is real life happening and it's raw and filled with emotion and meaning, and I LOVE it! Near the end of the year, many of you guys know I will be relocating to the Columbia, SC area (more specifically the Lexington area of Columbia) and I am DEFINITELY hoping to book plenty of births there, birth photography is my new favorite and "Jessica Roberts: Birth Photographer" sounds pretty awesome haha. I'll still be serving Beaufort for all of my sessions (families, weddings, children) after I move, but not births. The two hour drive makes me nervous. But I am available for Beaufort births (either at Riverside or Beaufort Memorial Hospital) until the Thanksgiving timeframe!Back to Stephanie. Her husband is currently deployed, and thanks to technology and wifi, he set up camp at 3 in the morning in his bathroom in order to be quiet for his roommate, and he was on the ipad the whole time! I don't want to tell a birth story because I know Stephanie's sister is planning on writing one, but I will give a little info on these images.Out of respect of privacy for my clients, I'm not going to share any images that include anything that could possibly be misconstrued as graphic or make my client uncomfortable for the public to see.
