701 Whaley wedding in Columbia, SC

Here’s a Columbia wedding that I am going to love forever! Between the pink getting ready room at the 1425 Inn downtown, the state house portraits, all of the bridesmaids crossing Huger with Kinley in Saturday traffic, and the 701 Whaley wedding reception with a vintage car exit.. all of it was just perfect!

Columbia state house bridal portraits_0412.jpg Kinley and Wesley have been together since high school, and all throughout college at Clemson University. Wesley proposed on the beach in Kiawah. He involved her whole family and afterward they had cake and champagne! Goodness how sweet!Kinley’s mom, sisters, and their dear friend Mrs. Penny planned the whole wedding themselves. They did a wonderful job! One awesome thing to note, Kinley’s veil was her mom’s on her wedding day! It was exactly what she wanted!St. Andrew’s Baptist was the location for the ceremony. It has such a unique and beautiful space, and the candles down the aisles were gorgeous. Kinley’s parents joined this church 31 years ago, and she and her sisters and I grew up attending. She called it home, and it was the perfect place for her to become a Mrs.Their 701 Whaley wedding reception was gorgeous. That venue is so modern and fun, and was the perfect backdrop for the mirrored signs and pops of gold décor. The Entertainers band kept everyone dancing all night! I had about 850 crab cakes from Anna Cline catering, drank a Crush soda which were the couple’s wedding favors… probably ate more crab cakes at this point..
